Yom Ha'atzmaut Celebration at BJ​

Classic Israeli folk dance celebration of Yom Ha'atzmaut. Special dances will be taught and played as part of the UWS celebrates Israel. Dancing will be at the B’nai Jeshurun Community House,270 West 89th St. (Broadway & West End Ave.) 3rd floor gym with a large wood dance floor - there is an ELEVATOR.

Sunday April 30

2-6PM

$5 (Greater contributions are welcome)​

7 - 8PM - INSTRUCTION - LEARN BASIC ISRAELI CLASSICS MANY OF WHICH ARE DANCED AT MOST SESSIONS
8PM - OPEN DANCING BY REQUEST WITH OCCASIONAL DEMONSTRATION OR TEACHING OF DANCES.

SPECIAL EVENTS INCLUDE WORKSHOPS WITH GUEST TEACHERS FROM ISRAEL & PARTIES TO CELEBRATE VARIOUS JEWISH HOLIDAYS. WE HAVE LIVE MUSIC FOR HOLIDAYS INCLUDING HANUKAH, PURIM & YOM HA’ATZMAUT.

SPECIAL EVENTS SUCH AS WORKSHOPS AND PARTIES USUALLY BEGIN AT 7PM.

LOCATION: BRIDGE FOR DANCE, 2726 BROADWAY @ 104 ST.

(Easily reachable by the Broadway 1/9 subway line to 103St or M104 Broadway Bus)
