The 33rd Annual
SHORASHIM
ROOTS OF ISRAELI FOLK DANCE

NOSTALGIA LABOR DAY WEEKEND
FOUNDED & DIRECTED BY
HAIM KAUFMAN

PRESENTED IN-PERSON & VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM

SATURDAY AUG 31st - MONDAY SEPT 2nd, 2024

Commemorating 80 years
since the first Dalia Festival
"Where the Israeli folk dance movement was born."

Featuring Master Teachers
RUTH GOODMAN & DANNY POLLOCK

Presenting their popular repertoire dance workshops and running fun night-time parties.

And the virtual participation from Israel of
YOAV SIDI

While Ruthy Pardess, originally scheduled to join us virtually, will not be able to participate, we are delighted that YOAV SIDI, an expert in first generation dances and close colleague of Ruthy Pardess, will be joining us via a special video presentation celebrating the Dalia Festivals.
This is a rare opportunity to learn early Israeli folk dances from a world expert.
